December 6 – Opening ceremony, Rapid day 1, Rounds 1-3
December 7 – Rapid day 2, Rounds 4-6
December 8 – Rapid day 3, Rounds 7-9
December 9 – Blitz Rounds 1-11, Closing Ceremony
December 10 – Departure for all invited players
About:
Organized by Dubai Chess & Culture Club, The Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Cup is a top-level international chess event, which will be played in the EXPO Exhibition Centre from 6th to 9th of December. Tournament will have 24 players only, male 2600+, female 2450+ (Sep 2021), selected by Dubai Chess & Culture Club.
Tournament format: rapid: Swiss System: 15 min + 10 sec/move, blitz: Swiss System: 3 mins + 2 sec/move
